WELDOM and DOMPRO
Weldom and Dompro join the group.
WELDOM, a store concept based on proximity to customers
Weldom is founded in 1999. It owes its origins to the first metallic grouping of Western France (Groupe Métallurgique de l'Ouest - GMO) in 1931.
Several decades and mergers later, a subsidiary named Domaxel is created, and later acquired by Leroy Merlin. The launch of Weldom makes it possible to group together all medium-sized DIY stores under one umbrella.
DOMPRO, a store serving trade professionals
A subsidiary of the Domaxel Group, Dompro is launched in France in 1996, then joins the ADEO Group. With 168 retail outlets, the chain caters exclusively for trade professionals.
